A Tex-Mex Journey to Remember: Welcoming Mr. Allison to the Gringo’s Family

At Gringo’s Tex-Mex, we’re lucky to serve some of the most loyal, passionate guests around—but every once in a while, someone comes along who reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

In 2025, we had the absolute honor of welcoming a very special Tex-Mex Insider, Mr. Allison, on a one-of-a-kind journey: a visit to all 17 Gringo’s locations. Yes—every. single. one.

What made this experience even more special wasn’t just the number of locations visited, but the heart and connection behind each stop.

A Journey Shared, One Location at a Time

From the very beginning, Mr. Allison stayed in contact with our Guest Service team, sharing his plans and experiences every step of the way. As he traveled from restaurant to restaurant, Mr. Allison took the time to truly experience each location and create relationships along the way, from meeting our managers, shaking hands with team members, to sharing stories, laughs, and, of course, enjoying Gringo’s delicious dishes.

Every visit became more than just a meal—it became a moment. It was a powerful reminder that while our menus may be the same, the people are what make each Gringo’s unique and by the time Mr. Allison completed his final stop, it was clear this journey had become something truly special for all of us. What started as a series of visits grew into a relationship of shared love for Tex-Mex. So today, we’re proud to say it loud and clear:

Mr. Allison, you’re officially part of the Gringo’s Tex-Mex family.

To Mr. Allison and his wife—thank you for choosing Gringo’s, for engaging with our teams, and for reminding us that great food is only part of the experience. It’s the relationships, the conversations, and the memories that truly matter.

And to our incredible team members across all locations: thank you for showing up with heart, hospitality, and pride at every stop along the way.

Here’s to many more journeys, many more plates of queso, and many more guests who make Gringo’s feel like home.
