We are so excited to announce that the Tex-Mex Legacy Foundation has awarded seven scholarships to some of our Team Members for the upcoming 2021 Fall Semester. These individuals each bring such a great work ethic to our company everyday, and we are honored to be able to give back to them as they take on this next chapter in their lives.

Our core value #3 is, “reinvesting in our Team Members and local communities”, and this is one of our favorite ways to do just that. We are so incredibly proud of each of them, and can’t wait to see what they accomplish! Here is a little bit about all of our scholarship recipients:

The Tex-Mex Legacy Foundation was founded by Russell and Monica Ybarra. Russell’s parents, Eugene Ybarra and Alice Ybarra instilled upon him and the entire family the importance of giving back to the community and supporting the community in which you operate. Continuing the legacy of giving back to the community, the Tex-Mex Legacy Foundation was formally created in a quest to take Russell Ybarra’s philanthropic work to the next level. Armed with three principles in mind, the foundation was created to help our veterans and first responders, to provide scholarships to the community, and to provide assistance to families that we serve in times of crisis and emergencies.
